Look around the Limousin
The Limousin consists of 3 departments, Creuse (23), Corrèze (19) and Haute Vienne (87). They all offer beautiful scenery, peace and quiet and they all have something for those interested in outdoor pursuits.

To the North West of Limoges is the Pays de Basse Marche. The local website www.paysdebassemarche.com is a good introduction to this area, and in English.
Châlus, southwest of Limoges, is in barrel-hoop makers country and you can find out more on www.otsichalus.free.fr
In the South East is the country of Bort-Artense, a dramatic area where the Dordogne is dammed to provide hydro-electric power. Visit www.bort-artense.com to find out more about this area.
Arnac-Pompadour is home to one of France's National Studs and the website provides lots of info about the Stud and the small villages nearby. www.pompadour.net, for the Pays de Pompadour.

Can you help Anne Marie rehome her beloved cats??
This is an urgent plea. I know that no one wants cats at the moment. I leave France on the 12th August. The Phoenix Sanctuary physically have no room, and have been warned by the SPA that they will put them down!! I am gutted. I have had my two older cats for over ten years and they are the talk of the street. The younger ones are just like babies!!
Please help, I cannot bear the thought that in less than a month I have to put them all down!!

As our veg box scheme that we started on a small scale has generated so much interest, we can increase the number of boxes that we will produce on a weekly basis, as from mid July. All of our vegetables included in the 'boxes' are home grown organically, and picked fresh prior to delivery. Vegetables supplied will be seasonal, therefore the contents may alter from week to week.
If you are interested in receiving one of our veg boxes weekly, or would like more information please email us with your address/enquries so that we can plan an efficient delivery route. We plan to deliver boxes on Thursday/Friday/Saturday late afternoon/early evening.
